Call for Presentations Guidelines
Presentations and speakers at the National Council Conference are by invitation, to ensure that critical content areas are addressed and the quality of presenters is uniformly high. However, we welcome for consideration a limited number of proposals for the 2010 conference. National Council members receive special consideration. Your proposed presentation should be interactive; feature a program, service or initiative that is practical, replicable; and demonstrate measurable outcomes.

  • Workshops: Presentations are 90 minutes long, with no more than a maximum of THREE presenters.
  • Posters: Highlight your promising programs during our poster session.
  • Videos: 10 to 30 minute documentaries or independent film projects that illustrate key issues in the delivery of appropriate and comprehensive behavioral health services. A copy of the video must be mailed to the National Council for review by September 15, 2009.

    Information for Presenters
Presenters are responsible for their own transportation, accommodations, and must register at the special presenter registration rate of $200. Presenters are responsible for providing handouts and presentation materials, including a copy of your PowerPoint presentation by February 8, 2010. All materials will be included on the National Council website and on the conference flashdrive. Presenters for selected proposals must be approved and invited by the National Council.
