Each June, we come together as an organization to celebrate Pride Month, reflect on the LGBTQ+ communities’ advancements and recognize their achievements. We also acknowledge their ongoing struggle for health and social justice, while honoring those who work to achieve equal opportunity for persons who identify as LGBTQ+. Join us as we bring awareness to the challenges LGBTQ+ individuals face, including those that impact their mental wellbeing. Here are some resources:

Make a mark in other ways this month:

  • Barriers to care still exist for LGBTQ+ individuals. Join us for Hill Day at Home on Wednesday, June 8, as we advocate for legislation that expands access to care for all communities.
  • LGBTQ+ individuals are 2.5 times more likely to experience depression, anxiety and substance misuse compared to their straight counterparts. Get trained in Mental Health First Aid to learn how to identify, understand and respond to signs of mental health and substance use challenges in others!
