The Coalition for Whole Health (CWH), of which the National Council is a member, is currently running a survey on the implementation and oversight of the Affordable Care Act and Parity. The survey consists of 16 questions and should take approximately 20 minutes to complete. This survey is critical to our field, as the information provided will help ensure that people around the country have access to mental health and substance use disorder care.

CWH is a coalition of national organizations in the mental health and substance use disorder fields, and allied organizations. The coalition periodically surveys state-level advocates about their activities in order to help improve the coalition’s work on the national level. Their surveys also inform federal government partners on the status of health reform and parity implementation, as well as its impact on individuals with behavioral health needs.

The National Council encourages Capitol Connector readers to fill out the survey and to share it with your networks.

The deadline for completing this survey is Wednesday, April 30, 2014.

If you have any questions about the survey or additional information about health reform or parity activities in your state, please contact Dan Belnap at
