It’s been a big year for mental health and substance use on Capitol Hill: from passing the Excellence in Mental Health Act to increasing funding for the Substance Abuse Prevention and Treatment Block Grant, establishing federal grants for Mental Health First Aid training, and blocking a Medicare proposal to revoke protected status for mental health drugs.

On behalf of the National Council, thank you for your advocacy in support of these goals!

But our work is far from over. And your voice will be more important than ever as we continue the fight for policies to strengthen the U.S. mental health and substance use system. Together, we can build a grassroots network with nationwide reach and powerful influence. Will you be part of the movement?

Please take 5 minutes today to boost our collective influence by filling out this short advocacy survey. Your answers will help us better communicate with you about the issues you care about. And, you’ll have the chance to join the newly launched National Council Ambassadors Network – a group of committed advocates who work to strengthen relationships with their elected officials and get access to special National Council policy resources and one-on-one support.

Whether you’re a regular presence on the Hill or an intermittent advocate, we want to hear from you.

Together, we’ve come this far – and together, we’ll continue to succeed. Please complete the survey today.

Thank you, as always, for all that you do.
