Are You Ready to be a CCBHC? This Readiness Assessment Will Help You Find Out
The countdown is on to August 5, 2015: the deadline for states to apply for Excellence in Mental Health Act Planning Grants. As states across the country begin preparing to submit applications, MTM Services and the National Council want to make sure you have everything you need to be ready to become a Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic (CCBHC).
This week, MTM Services released the CCBHC Certified Criteria Readiness Tool (CCRT) to assist organizations is assessing their current status and identifying areas of needed improvement to ensure ideal candidacy to become a CCBHC.
The purpose of the CCBHC Certification Criteria Readiness Tool (CCRT) is to provide the management team of each behavioral health organization that is considering participation in the demonstration program the ability to review the required CCBHC certification criteria. The readiness tool provides a level of concern rating that will support awareness of the level of change management that may be needed to support enhanced service delivery processes, staffing, scope of services, quality outcomes, reporting and governance areas.
