CoE Office Hour: Returning to the Office? Equitable Considerations & Implications

As many health care organizations have either already returned to working in their offices or are making plans for additional staff to return to the office, organizations are now having to consider how the new COVID-19 delta variant impacts the safety of their staff and clients. In addition, many organizations are considering what it means to transition back into physical workspaces through an equitable and inclusive approach, specifically supporting the unique needs that each individual and family may have. How can organizations support employee wellness and safety in a hybrid work environment?  What does it mean to adapt to the “new normal”, while prioritizing an equitable approach to support the unique implications of all staff, specifically individuals within marginalized communities? Leaders have several considerations to balance, including staff physical, social, psychological and moral safety and creating cultures that are inclusive and promote belonging.

Join us on Wednesday, August 25th from 2-3pm ET for a conversation with health equity and racial justice experts for a conversation on equity considerations when returning to physical workspaces and offices, and in hybrid work environments.
