Virtual Support, Real Impact: Implementing Integrated Telebehavioral Health in Schools and School-based Health Centers

Join the Center of Excellence for Integrated Health Solutions and the School-Based Health Alliance Aug. 12, 2025, 3-4 p.m. ET, for Virtual Support, Real Impact: Implementing Integrated Telebehavioral Health in Schools and School-based Health Centers.

As youth mental health needs continue to grow, schools are increasingly recognized as vital access points for behavioral health services. In this webinar, we’ll explore how schools and school-based health centers can use telehealth to expand access to behavioral health care, reduce no-show rates, and support young people where they are.

Even though school-based settings are familiar, trusted environments where students can receive care without leaving campus, many young people still face significant barriers to accessing in-person services. Provider shortages, scheduling difficulties, stigma and more keep them from getting the timely help they need. Register for this session to learn why telebehavioral health has emerged as a powerful tool to address these challenges.

Participants will leave this session able to:

  • Describe how telebehavioral health is being used to increase access, reduce wait times and support continuity of care in school settings.
  • Identify core elements of sustainable school-based telebehavioral health programs, including effective school partnerships, workflow design and privacy management.
  • Understand how integrated models of care can reduce no-show rates, enhance collaboration between providers and educators, and better align with students’ academic and health needs.

This session will highlight lessons from a statewide telebehavioral health initiative serving more than 100 schools, offering practical insights for teams at any stage of program development.

This session is ideal for school staff, school-based health center teams, integrated care teams, mental health professionals and system leaders.
