Older Americans Month: Innovations to Build Resiliency Post-COVID-19

Dr. Tobi Abramson, director of Geriatric Mental Health for the New York City Department for the Aging, will lead the forum in a “deep dive” discussion about how the department responded to COVID-19. We will explore strategies employed to support older adults with mental health support needs in New York City, as well as innovations from across the country. Recognizing the significant shift in how services have been provided, we will touch on telehealth, intergenerational support and other strategies to stay connected during this crisis.
