1. Book Your Hotel

Hill Day workshops will take place at the Hyatt Regency in Washington, DC, while your meetings with elected officials will take place in the congressional office buildings on Capitol Hill. We recommend that people arrive on Sunday afternoon and depart Tuesday late evening or Wednesday morning.

The National Council’s room block at the Hyatt Regency Capitol Hill is sold out. The Hyatt Regency may have additional rooms available but not at the conference rate, as the cutoff date of 9/8/17 has passed. Below is a list of near-by hotels that may have availability.

2. Getting to D.C.

Airports

Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport is located in Crystal City, Virginia and is a 10-20 minute cab ride from the Hyatt Regency on Capitol Hill. This airport is directly accessible to the WMATA subway system in greater Washington, D.C.

Dulles International Airport is located in Dulles, Virginia and is a 30 mile, 30-40 minute drive from the Hyatt Regency on Capitol Hill.

Baltimore-Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport is located in Linthicum, Maryland and is a short train ride or 40-60 cab ride from the Hyatt Regency on Capitol Hill.

Train Travel

For those looking to travel by train, Union Station in Washington, D.C. is located just 4 blocks from the Hyatt Regency on Capitol Hill.
