The National Council COVID-19 Relief Fund is now accepting applications from our members who would like to request in-kind or financial donations. To apply, please complete the brief application below.

If we are unable to provide your organization with the full extent of your request, we will make every attempt to circle back to you if/when further resources are secured. Together, we are America’s behavioral health network. We are committed to helping you move forward.

To help, we worked with our partners  to develop a wide range of technical resources for different behavioral health stakeholders and settings. Please check out our resource page for tools, news and learning opportunities that can help you during these challenging times.

In-Kind Services

The following companies have generously offered to provide access to their services for free to our members. Specific information about the services offered and access opportunities is below. Please note that this list will be updated as more companies offer in-kind services:

  • Innovatel – One month of free psychiatric care for organizations looking to add to their clinical team during these challenging times
  • Eleos Health – Free 90 day access to Eleos Health’s virtual behavioral health platform— unlimited telehealth sessions coupled with clinical analytics on treatment outcomes and clinicians’ efficiency

Scholarships for MHFA Virtual

On the heels of a global pandemic, with mental health issues on the rise, we all need to be able to identify, understand and respond to signs and symptoms of mental health challenges. The updated Mental Health First Aid (MHFA) curriculum, a program of the National Council for Behavioral Health, provides new information on trauma, self-care, wellness and resilience. A new virtual delivery option will make it even more accessible during times of physical distancing.

Centene Corporation has generously donated $250,000 to the National Council for Behavioral Health’s COVID-19 Relief Fund, specifically for National Council members to bring MHFA Virtual to their communities. Thanks to Centene, nonprofit National Council member organizations can apply for a $7,500 grant, which can be used toward:

  • Training new Instructors
  • Certifying existing Instructors in Virtual
  • Purchasing training units for First Aiders taking the virtual course

Eligible applicants include nonprofit National Council member organizations. Applicants can request this funding through the COVID-19 Relief Fund application. Please note that organizations can request general support funds AND MHFA Virtual funds. If your organization has already requested general support funds, please complete an additional application to request MHFA Virtual funds.
