Joseph ("JC") Carrica, EdD

Joseph (“JC”) Carrica, III, EdD, is a 1996 graduate from the University of Southern Colorado, 2009 Graduate of Adams State College and 2014 Graduate of Creighton University. He has a doctorate in Interdisciplinary Leadership,  a MA in Counseling and is a Certified Addictions Counselor. His dissertation work focused on the referral barriers that affect the integration efforts of behavioral health and primary care in eastern Colorado. He is currently the Vice President and Chief of Healthcare Innovation & Strategy for Valley-Wide Health Systems, Inc. This organization is a Federally Qualified Health Center, Community Mental Health Center and attested Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic that serves 14 rural and frontier counties of southern Colorado. During his down time he likes to study soil health, coach softball and play golf.
