Centers of Excellence: Final Paper Released!
Last December, the National Council asked the behavioral health community – providers, advocates, and peers – to participate in a five-month crowdsourcing project to spark conversation about behavioral health centers of excellence (BHCOE). The results of the project were detailed in a workshop session facilitated by healthcare expert Dale Jarvis at the National Council’s 2014 Conference in Washington, D.C.
With the recent passage of the Excellence in Mental Health Act, this conversation will continue to grow. To better equip our community with a footing in the BHCOE concept, we have released a final BHCOE whitepaper detailing the National Council’s concept and future implementation plans. Stay tuned to the National Council over the coming months – as the BHCOE fun is just getting started!
