There’s a new model in behavioral health care, one that is alleviating decades-old challenges that have led to a crisis in providing access to mental health and addiction treatment.

As an integrated and sustainably-financed model for care delivery, Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinics (CCBHC) are transforming communities across the country. CCBHCs:

  • Ensure access to integrated, evidence-based addiction and mental health services
  • Provide 24/7 crisis response and medication-assisted treatment (MAT) for addiction
  • Meet stringent criteria regarding timeliness of access, quality reporting, staffing and coordination with social services, criminal justice and education systems
  • Receive funding to support expanding services to fully meet community care needs

Learn more about being a CCBHC, access tools to maximize your impact and get the latest news by visiting our CCBHC Success Center. You can also take advantage of a new grant opportunity!

The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) is currently accepting applications for FY2021 CCBHC Expansion grants ($2 million per year for two years).

These grants are available to community treatment providers in every state. Qualified applicants must be a CCBHC – or able meet the requirements of a CCBHC – within four months of receiving a grant.

Learn more by attending a Q&A session on Tuesday, January 19, from 3:30-4:30 p.m. ET. We will discuss the CCBHC model and offer greater insight into this funding opportunity.

We encourage all interested and qualified organizations to apply for a FY2021 CCBHC Expansion grant and to attend our upcoming webinar. Have questions? Contact us!
