Hill Day 2017

The National Council partnered with 21 national advocacy organizations to host National Council Hill Day 2017! Over 600 advocates met with hundreds of Members of Congress, sharing with them the important messages of funding and supporting mental health and substance use treatment services. The National Council thanks our partner organizations and ALL of our advocates for their tremendous work.

Hill Day 2017 was held in partnership with: Addiction Policy Forum, Association for Behavioral Health and Wellness, Association of Recovery Schools, Clubhouse International, Depression and Bipolar Support Alliance, Faces and Voices of Recovery, Facing Addiction, Family-Focused Treatment Association (FFTA), Family-Run Executive Director Leadership Association (FREDLA), Hazelden Betty Ford Institute for Recovery Advocacy, International Bipolar Foundation, Legal Action Center, Mental Health America, NAMI, NAADAC the Association for Addiction Professionals, National Association of Social Workers, National Board for Certified Counselors, Network for Social Work Management, Psychiatric Rehabilitation Association, Shatterproof, and Young People in Recovery.
