SMI TTAC is ready to offer guidance on evidence-based and emerging best practices for treatment and care of people experiencing serious mental illness (SMI). By completing this form, you help us better understand your specific needs and priorities so we can tailor our assistance.

We accept requests from organizations, people experiencing serious mental illness, and professionals, including requests from providers for clinical consultation. All technical assistance is completely free for the requester.

We look forward to connecting with you!

*The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) defines SMI as a mental illness that interferes with a person’s life and ability to function.

Please note that this form is not intended to respond to mental health or other medical emergencies. If you are experiencing a mental health emergency, please dial or text 988 to be connected to a trained crisis counselor any time day or night.

As you prepare to submit a request, please note the following:
  • We are only able to respond to TA requests from community-serving organizations and cannot respond to TA requests from institutionally based organizations such as prisons.
