Will Warnes, M.D.

William (Will) Warnes, M.D., is board certified in family medicine, general psychiatry and child and adolescent psychiatry. He has been the medical director of The Guidance Center, a three-county community mental health center in northeast Kansas, since 2011. Dr. Warnes has also served as the medical director of KidsTLC, a psychiatric residential treatment facility in Olathe, Kansas, since 2019 and the medical director of the Association of Community Mental Health Centers of Kansas since 2022. He views psychiatry, non-medication behavioral treatments for children and collaboration with other health care professions as areas of interest in his practice.   

A 2002 graduate of the University of Nebraska Medical Center, Dr. Warnes practiced as a rural family practitioner until returning to complete his psychiatric residency and child and adolescent fellowship at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics.
