A Value-based Payment Model for Comprehensive SUD Care

The National Council for Mental Wellbeing, in collaboration with the Alliance for Addiction Payment Reform, introduces a transformative approach to funding substance use disorder (SUD) treatment that moves beyond traditional fee-for-service limitations. 

The Addiction Recovery Medical Home Alternative Payment Model (ARMH-APM) provides a flexible framework designed to fully support essential SUD services that are often underfunded in conventional payment systems. 

Our new resources demonstrate the significant advantages of implementing the ARMH model within both large healthcare systems and Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinics (CCBHCs).
