Exploring Integrated Care in Tribal Communities
Join the Center of Excellence for Integrated Health Solutions on June 25, 1-2 p.m. ET, to learn how Tribal communities are advancing integrated behavioral health and primary care in ways that honor Indigenous knowledge and support sovereignty in health systems. Integrated care improves access to health services, especially when it is community-driven and aligned with Tribal values and healing traditions.
The session will share integrated care implementation strategies and lessons learned from the Eastern Band of the Cherokee Indians, Cherokee Indian Hospital’s Analenisgi Behavioral Health Program, and other Tribal health programs across the country.
After this webinar, participants will be able to:
- Describe models of integrated care.
- Understand contextual factors in providing integrated care in Tribal communities.
- Identify challenges and strategies for implementing integrated care in Tribal communities.
This virtual event is hosted by the Center of Excellence for Integrated Health Solutions, funded by a grant award from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. If you have questions about this session, please contact Integration@TheNationalCouncil.org.
