Beyond Depression and Anxiety: Scaling CoCM for Serious Mental Illness and Opioid Use Disorder

Join us Tuesday, Aug. 26, 2-3 p.m. ET, for Beyond Depression and Anxiety: Scaling CoCM for Serious Mental Illness and Opioid Use Disorder. This session will highlight real-world applications of the Collaborative Care Model (CoCM) to treat opioid use disorder (OUD), bipolar disorder and post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) in a primary care setting. Panelists will share insights from implementation efforts, including lessons learned from clinical trials and frontline practice.  

Learning Objectives:  

  • Describe the rationale and clinical need for expanding behavioral health integration to address conditions beyond depression and anxiety 
  • Identify key adaptations to workflows, staffing and measurement-informed care tools to effectively integrate behavioral health care for patients with OUD, bipolar disorder and PTSD in primary care settings.  
  • Discuss implementation challenges and lessons learned from sites that have successfully expanded the scope of behavioral health integration.
