Zero Suicide Institute® at EDC guides health care leaders and professionals through transformational change toward safer suicide care. Zero Suicide Institute works with health and behavioral health care organizations, federal, state and tribal agencies, and providers committed to continuous, system-wide quality improvement.

A recognized leader in Zero Suicide, Assessing and Managing Suicide Risk (AMSR) and Counseling on Access to Lethal Means (CALM), Zero Suicide Institute has trained thousands of individuals and provided consultation to more than 1,200 organizations since 2015. Zero Suicide Institute draws on EDC’s more than 65 years of experience designing and scaling evidence-based solutions and more than two decades of national leadership in suicide prevention. Through its Prevention Solutions initiative, EDC also supports communities addressing addiction, substance misuse, problem gambling and suicide prevention.
