Q: Do I need to pay to attend SJLA Learning Series events?
A: No, SJLA Learning Series events are free.
Q: Will the Learning Series events be available to watch after the event has concluded?
A: Yes! All events will be recorded and available to watch on demand on our website linked HERE.
Q: How do I sign up for the mailing list to learn about future SJLA Learning Series events?
A: We’ve added all registrants to our mailing list – if you’ve registered for an SJLA Learning Series event before, you’re on the list!
Q: I can’t attend all the monthly SJLA Learning Series events – is that a problem?
A: Each event within the Learning Series is a standalone presentation to allow attendees to register for as many events as possible as they build their social justice knowledge base at their own pace.
Q: Will I be able to receive a copy of the Learning Series event slide deck once the event has concluded?
A: Yes! All slide decks will be made available on our Resources webpage linked HERE.
Q: Where can I view the schedule and register for upcoming Learning Series events?
A: All current event registrations are linked on our Events page HERE. Future event registrations will be listed on our Events page as they are announced. We will typically announce upcoming events 2-3 months in advance.
Q: Is the SJLA Workbook required reading for the SJLA Learning Series?
A: No, you do not need to read the SJLA Workbook to participate in SJLA Learning Series events. The SJLA Workbook is an educational resource that touches on many of the topics addressed in the Learning Series – we encourage those who want to take their learning a step further to check out the SJLA Workbook as a resource!
Q: Where can I find more information about the Social Justice Leadership Academy Workbook?

Q: Are CEUs available for individuals who attend Learning Series events?
A: Unfortunately, the Learning Series is not CEU accredited at this time.
Q: Will I receive a certificate of completion for attending Learning Series events?
A: No, there will not be a certificate of completion. However, if you would like proof of attendance for your employer, please email SJLA@thenationalcouncil.org or use the contact form below and we would be happy to provide you with an email verification.
