Housing Is Care: Advancing Stability Through CCBHC Partnerships
People experiencing homelessness or housing insecurity often navigate two complex systems alone, behavioral health and housing, at the moment they can least afford to. The result is crisis, fragmentation and missed opportunity.
Housing is Care is a practical resource developed by the Corporation for Supportive Housing and the National Council for Mental Wellbeing’s CCBHC-E NTTAC to change that. This crosswalk establishes a shared framework for collaboration between Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinics (CCBHCs) and housing providers, including supportive housing programs.
Inside, you’ll find partnership models grounded in treatment-first principles, recovery-oriented outcomes and real-world funding realities, adaptable to your state and local context.
Whether you work in behavioral health or housing, this resource gives you the tools to align services, reduce system barriers and support the long-term stability your community members deserve.
