Since 1969, the National Council for Mental Wellbeing has served on the frontlines of community health, fighting to ensure all Americans living with mental health and substance use challenges have access to high-quality, comprehensive care that affords every opportunity for recovery.
Hope and help is needed now more than ever. With the COVID-19 pandemic continuing to impact communities across the country and drug overdoses on the rise, more work is needed to put people on a path toward health and wellness. Your generous donation can help us do that:
- Help us connect people to care: Your donation will help us bring more Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinics (CCBHCs) to neighborhoods nationwide, giving more people the opportunity to receive the mental health and substance use treatment they need.
- Help us advance health care through advocacy: Your donation will help us get critical health care policy across the finish line – from legislation on suicide prevention and telehealth to expanding access to care for individuals in underserved communities.
- Help us increase mental health literacy: Your donation will help us bring Mental Health First Aid to more communities, ensuring more people have the skills to identify, understand and respond to mental health and substance use challenges in themselves and others.
- Help us invest in the workforce: Your donation will help us further invest in the mental health and substance use treatment workforce through the delivery of new evidence-based trainings, leadership-building programs, consulting opportunities and events.
