CCBHC-T Workforce Career Accelerator Candidate Informational Session #3
The National Council for Mental Wellbeing is administering the Ballmer-Group-funded CCBHC Transformation (CCBHC-T) program in partnership with the National Association of State Mental Health Program Directors (NASMHPD) to transform and enhance our Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic (CCBHC) model in Illinois, Kansas and Michigan.
Through this collaboration, we are excited to offer candidates at select employment sites the opportunity to participate in the CCBHC-T Workforce Career Accelerator program. Eligible candidates include those who, by July 2026, have met the prerequisites to pursue, or are currently pursuing, clinical licensure (e.g., social work, professional counseling, marriage and family therapy or clinical psychology) or substance use counseling certification or licensure.
The CCBHC-T Workforce Career Accelerator aims to address the challenges of expanding and developing the behavioral health workforce by offering financial incentives and professional development resources to staff pursuing licensure as behavioral health clinicians. As a candidate in the Workforce Career Accelerator program, you will have access to free licensure test prep, courtesy of our partners at Triad, and technical assistance to support your licensure or certification journey.
