At 5,280 feet above sea level, Denver sits a mile closer to the sky, inviting us to think a mile higher, too. That makes it the perfect home for NatCon, the National Council’s annual conference, where the biggest ideas in behavioral health take center stage.
This April 27-29, thousands of health care professionals from across the country will unite at the Colorado Convention Center to exchange ideas, network with experts and shape the future of behavioral health. What makes the event so special?
For starters, NatCon has something for everyone: You can hear from big-name speakers, earn continuing education credits, explore new technologies, discover emerging trends, connect with colleagues and take some time to recharge — all in the same day!
Hear from Top Minds in Health Care and Beyond
Three keynotes will headline this year’s roster of 550+ speakers: Angela Duckworth, PhD, Shankar Vedantam and Trent Gillespie. Let’s get to know them:
- Angela Duckworth is a renowned psychologist, academic and bestselling author. Her TED Talk is one of the most viewed of all time, and her book, “Grit: The Power of Passion and Perseverance,” is a No. 1 New York Times bestseller. Duckworth will take the main stage on Monday, April 27, to share how the secret to outstanding achievement in work and life isn’t talent, but grit.
- Shankar Vedantam is a journalist, author and host of the popular podcast Hidden Brain. His work explores how the unconscious — the “hidden brain” — influences patterns of human behavior, rippling out to create and change our decisions and our world. On Tuesday, April 28, Vendantam will share best practices that are applicable to every level of behavioral health care.
- Trent Gillespie is CEO of Stellis AI and a leader in AI-powered innovation. As generative AI transforms behavioral health, Gillespie will help attendees understand how to harness its potential. On Wednesday, April 29, he’ll take the stage to share insights on growth, innovation and AI’s future in behavioral health care.
